Hutton Village Hall

 

Situated in the centre of the village, the Village Hall is at the heart of social activities for the whole parish. Its multiple facilities can be hired by clubs, societies and individuals from within or outside the parish. Ideal for wedding receptions, birthday parties, meetings, dances, quizzes, concerts and all sorts of social functions.

 

The large main hall with its stage can seat 180 people, and has a fully equipped kitchen. The small hall seats 70, and has an attached kitchenette with hot and cold water and electrics. The Legion Room seats 40.

  • Maximum numbers permitted are as follows - Main Hall - Max 120,  Small Hall - Max 70, Legion Room - Max 40. 
  • Priority will be given to regular (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) hirers.
  • There are No Bar facilities available. (Temporary event notices can be used for the personal sale of alcohol - cost £21) Alcohol can be served free of any license for private parties only.
  • Our Village Hall does not have a TV licence. Please see policy here for details on viewing and streaming live TV on your devices on our premises.

Free Wifi is available in all halls.

 

Hirers should be aware that Helium Balloons are NOT allowed in the village hall due to the fact that balloons left overnight tend to drift down and set off the alarms necessitating a chargable call out from the alarm company.

Main Hall

The main hall is 16m x 9.8m and can seat 180 people theatre style, 100 for meals and 120 for dancing. It is equipped with trestle tables (6' x 2'6") and stacking tables (3' x 3').
 
The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, heating cupboard, microwave oven, fridge (with small freezer) and a large double sink. Kettles, hot water boiler, crockery and cutlery are available.

 

A drop-down screen, portable screen and projector are also available for hire (contact the Parish Clerk on 01934 813871 for details)

Small Hall

The Small Hall, also known as the Harold Coward Memorial Hall, is 10.3m x 7.3m with a kitchenette.
It can seat 70 people theatre style, 50 for meals and 50 for dancing. 
It is equipped with trestle tables (6' x 2'6"), stacking tables (3' x 3') and chairs.
The adjoining kitchenette is equipped with a sink, microwave oven, kettle, crockery and cutlery.

Legion Room

The Legion Room is ideal for small conferences, meetings and birthday parties. It is fully carpeted with an excellent decor.
It is approx. 6.7m x 4.4m and can seat 40 people.

Clothes and Shoes recycling

A clothes and shoes recycling bin is in place at Hutton Village Hall. All donations go to Planet Aid https://www.planetaid-uk.org

All monies raised go towards helping communities around the world have access to all of the things that we take for granted.

Planet Aid UK’s objectives are:

  • To serve the victims of hunger, war, natural disasters, atomic accidents, plagues and other catastrophes; assisting to relocate people and facilitate the rebuilding of areas affected by such disasters and accidents.
  • To serve the poorest of the world’s populations and self-organising numerous development projects world-wide including, but not in any way limited to, schools, clinics, mini-banking, farming and small scale industry.
  • To serve the threatened elements of the earth’s atmosphere, its soil, its plants and its animals; initiating protective actions to preserve rivers, seas and forests from misuse, and undertaking a wide variety of projects aimed at the protection of the natural habitat.
