Parish Council Members
The Council is made up of ten elected members*.
The choice of whom is made by registered electors from the parish on a four-year cycle coinciding with elections to the North Somerset District Council.
Hutton Parish Councillors work as a team, members of which disregard influence from or allegiance to political parties, which we believe have no part to play in parish affairs.
*Hutton Parish Council currently has vacancies and the Council is proposing again to take steps to fill the vacancies by the co-option of suitable persons. Hence any eligible interested persons are invited to apply for co-option to the Parish Council as a Councillor.

A Tribute to Terry Porter
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our Parish Councillor and District Councillor, Terry Porter.
This is a tremendous loss for Hutton and for everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
His dedication, commitment and unwavering support for our community has made a lasting difference, and he will be greatly missed by so many.
On behalf of Hutton Parish Council, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts are with them all.
Terry’s contribution to village life and public service will not be forgotten, and we are deeply grateful for everything he did for Hutton.
