Bleadon Hill Road Closure

(BLEADON HILL, WESTON SUPER MARE, NORTH SOMERSET) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2011 (2)

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Bleadon Hill, Weston-super-Mare that extends from its junction with A370 Bridgwater Road south-east for 50 metres.

This order is required because of works to replace a gas main and will become operative on the 5 DECEMBER 2011 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of TWELVE DAYS in duration.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

A370 Bridgwater Road, Broadway, Oldmixon Road, Totterdown Lane, Channel Heights and Bleadon Hill (parts unaffected), and vice versa.

The planned date is Monday 5 December for two weeks.
