Spring Update

The spring plants have put on a good show considering the hard winter, but unfortunately this lovely summer weather is taking its toll through a lack of rain.

The team has worked hard potting on the summer plants and they are coming on well, hopefully they will be ready to plant out towards the end of May or early June.

Hutton in Bloom New Bed - June 2011

The kind generosity of Mrs Jean Bridge has enabled the Hutton in Bloom team to build a new permanent planted bed in loving memory of her husband Arnold who passed away last year. Arnold was a log time member of the Hutton in Bloom team. The bed incorporates a cider press to reflect the village's past as a cider producing village.
